Introducing Assettagz version 3.0

We've made some changes to Assettagz to improve the overall experience. We've completely redesigned the web interface and added even more sophistication to the inspections capability to make for a more tailored Assettagz experience. With Assettagz you can now:

  • capture inspection data customised to your exact needs
  • manage sophisticated inspection regimes & alerts
  • filter your data for customised views
  • export data straight to Excel

The new Assettagz web interface

We've redesigned the Assettagz web interface using the very latest technologies. As well as improved performance, it's more intuitive to use and much easier to navigate around so you can find the information you're looking for more easily.

Easier navigation

All the information about an asset, including its inspections, history and associated documentation is brought together in a single asset view. The user can also see lists of associated assets when viewing locations, employee ID cards or asset template.

Intuitive filtering

You can now add multiple filtering criteria within any of the page views to display the exact data you require. From Location to Last hired date, all the information you need is displayed just as you want it.

Excel reports

If the user wants to save the view of data they have built or take it off-line for further analysis, it can be immediately exported to Excel. Also any report can be created either in pdf format ready for printing or exported directly into Excel for further analysis.

Inspections

We've developed the inspections capability so that you can customize your inspection screens and certificates, create complex inspections schedulesand tailor your email alerts.

Customised inspection screens and certificates

Inspection screens constructed to your exact specification allow you to capture exactly the information you require. This may be a simple question whether the inspection passed or failed, or a complex series of questions where the answer to one question can determine which questions are asked next. All the information captured is presented in the web interface as a certificate that can be emailed or viewed online by anyone (including your customers) who needs access to the results of the inspection.

Sophisticated inspection scheduling

You now have complete control over your inspection schedules. Schedules can start the day an asset is added to the system, or can be triggered automatically by an event, for example when the asset is first issued. When the asset reaches a certain age, Assettagz can prompt the user to take it out of service at the end of its life. Inspections can be scheduled based on the calendar, where an inspection must be completed for example every day or every six months. Alternatively the next inspection can be scheduled for a fixed time interval from when it was last carried out.

Tailored email alerts

Email alerts can be automatically generated when events take place, for example when an inspection fails, an asset is identified as requiring urgent attention.

Scheduled generation of reports

Your regular reports can now be generated and distributed by email, for example overdue inspections, assets requiring attention, items on hire longer than expected, asset utilisation.
