RFID-based Auto Tool Hire Unit wins another prestigious award

4hSolutions customer and partner, A-Plant, was declared winner of a prestigious Best Product award at a glittering awards ceremony in London hosted by Hire Association Europe (HAE) and Event Hire Association (EHA).

At the Hire Awards of Excellence 2011 at Grosvenor House Hotel compered by TV and Radio Presenter Paul Ross, A-Plant was declared a deserving winner of the award for Best Product of the Year (Sponsored by Speedy Hire) for the company's Auto Tool Hire Unit.

Developed together with 4hSolutions as its RFID technology partner, A-Plant's Auto Tool Hire Unit is an unmanned, fully automated unit which is designed to be located at customer sites to provide instant access to a range of tools and other equipment. Radically changing the way in which tools and equipment are ordered and managed on-site, its innovative properties have also been recently recognised at the Institute of Water Innovation Awards where it won the Innovative Product Award.

In awarding A-Plant with the accolade, Graham Arundell, Managing Director of HAE/EHA said: "To award A-Plant the winner's trophy for Product of the Year was a unanimous decision for its innovative concept of an on-site hire store, which has become a reality and still offers much more development opportunity."
