COMIT (Construction Opportunities for Mobile IT) was formed in 2005 to promote effective use of Mobile IT in the UK construction industry. It helps its members realise benefits from the use of mobile information and communication technologies (ICT). COMIT's aim is to become the European centre of excellence for the exploration, development and implementation of emerging ICT within the construction industry.
